浅谈机械说明书翻译

一，机械说明书翻译要保持语句的通顺、流畅

例如，在感应器装置附近打一地线，使感应器装置上面的接地端子直接与大地可靠相连。地线的连接应符合电工规范。

例1，我们看出其严谨性与准确性。例2，原文的"木板"翻译成了"plank"，实际上应为"board"，因为"board"泛指各种宽而薄的木板，而"plank"指比较厚的"木板""板材"，所以，"board"更为合适。另外，译文也有一处数字错误，应该为"30mm"，而不是"35mm"。例3，很明显，语句不通，令人无法理解原意。

二，机械说明书翻译应具有严谨性

例如，水源由水泵从蓄水装置供入设备的进水管，可循环使用以节省水资源。必须使用经过软化处理的软水，以免结垢堵塞水路，引起不必要的故障。

（译文）Water is supplied by water pump from the water storage device to the water inlet of the equipment, and it can be recycling to save the water resource. The soft water through softening process must be used to avoid its scale-formation blocking the waterway which may lead to unnecessary fault.

三，机械说明书翻译要有一定的准确性

例如，感应器与电源柜确保连接安全可靠。连接线应加装防护装置，不得踩踏连接线，不得往连接线上面堆放任何金属物料。在设备周围必须设置安全防护措施，用30mm厚的干燥木板做工作踏台。

（译文）Make sure that inductor and power cabinet connect safely and reliably.
